Located on the southern slope of the Bavarian town of Tegernsee, above the picturesque lake of the same name, the hideaway hotel DAS TEGERNSEE invites you to a holistic sensory experience. The hotel combines five individual houses into a harmonious ensemble. Each house has its own character and opens up individual worlds of style and living. DAS TEGERNSEE also offers a variety of places for enjoyment, a generous spa and wellness landscape as well as exclusive conference and event facilities. acre has accompanied the hotel since its repositioning as DAS TEGERNSEE ten years ago. We developed the hotel’s new brand as well as its entire identity including all tools such as print, website, merchandising and hotel decor.
Over the last decade, the hotel underwent a comprehensive renovation that encompassed all areas of the hotel. Starting with the lobby, the rooms, the gastronomy concept as well as the spa and conference landscapes - with each building block, the hotel completed its metamorphosis into a house of quiet luxury in the middle of a dream landscape. As a central milestone, the website underwent a complete relaunch in 2020. The goal was to develop an online presence with a high level of usability that supports users in planning and booking their stay at DAS TEGERNSEE as comprehensively and independently as possible, while guiding them through the hotel's complex offerings with a clear structure and elegant design.

The goal was to develop an online presence with a high level of usability that supports users in planning and booking their stay at DAS TEGERNSEE as comprehensively and independently as possible, while guiding them through the hotel’s complex offerings with a clear structure and elegant design.

Versatile special features

The navigation of the responsive website is simple and intuitive for users, both in the desktop and mobile versions. The new filter function allows guests to select their preferred category and living environment from a total of 92 rooms, suites and apartments. The option to save favourites also offers the possibility to compare different accommodations directly with each other.

Thanks to the website’s connection to reservation and booking software, room prices are displayed on a daily basis and according to availability. Further interfaces allow uncomplicated booking of spa treatments and table reservations in the restaurants and beer garden.
