The idea of stacking containers turns an office building opposite Frankfurt's Osthafen into a rare piece of architecture with a clear positioning: THE DOCKS. Waterfront offices. The brand identity is formed by the logo in the font Pressura, which is reminiscent of imprints on cargo containers, by the color code that refers to the architecture, and a bold pattern. The website, the so-called “Eastside Ambassador”, a signage system and print documents bring THE DOCKS to life.

Meet the neighbors

THE DOCKS is located in Frankfurt’s Ostend, a colorful city quarter with personality. The mixture of creative, financial, industrial and harbor culture is unique in the financial metropolis and makes the district a popular original. Recently, more and more companies have settled here, so that an urban mix has developed.

To make the urban culture and atmosphere of the Ostend tangible, we portrayed central “Eastside Ambassadors” in short interviews within their daily surroundings. The result is an authentic palette of impressions about the location, charismatic people and their work-life balance in “their” district. The portraits were used both in the flexible brochure and on the website. They tell of a place worth living in.
