MA-RO Frankfurt am Main

Brand development, retail and gastronomy concept for MA’RO

For the centrally located office and commercial building on the corner of Neue Mainzer Straße and Neue Rothofstraße in Frankfurt am Main, acre was tasked to develop a brand name and identity, to create a marketing concept as well as a suitable retail and gastronomy concept.

The building with its expressive architecture in Frankfurt’s Opernquartier offers offices on approx. 8,500sqm as well as retail and gastronomy space on approx. 3,700sqm. With the elegant artificial name MARO, acre paid tribute to the two central streets, Neue Mainzer Straße, and Neue Rothofstraße, at whose intersection the new landmark property is located. In order to address the audience in the retail sector, acre created high-quality marketing collateral.

The city centre location adjacent to Goethestraße led to the idea of expanding the luxury shopping location with a circular vision within the so-called Opernquartier. Accordingly, acre approached potential tenants from the luxury segment on behalf of the owner and initiated lease negotiations.
